*cries* How is pantera in the heavy metal subforum?... they were thrash... but back to the topic: I don't like them, they stole material from less-known bands, and their only halfway good album was cowboys from hell anyway. But that's just my opinion

I don't miss them but I'm still listening to the old ones, Vulgar and Cowboys etc etc. But still I really didn't like the reinventing the steel one. So I think that maybe it is best that they separated. Another album like the steel would have been a massacre of talent.

I dont reaaally miss them... i mean, yeah, its a huge loss to the metal community as a whole, but there are far better bands out there, IMO. i'm not much of a thrash fan though. I'm classical (Death, Obituary)
